All of us at Great Escapes Worldwide are divers and we have first hand experience of many of the fabulous dive destinations we offer. Whether you are an experienced diver looking for your next bucket list trip, or you are looking to learn to dive to begin your underwater adventures, we are here to help.
Dive Liveaboards
For experienced divers, we offer trips throughout the world on some of the finest liveaboards. Dive liveaboards generally require divers to be trained to at least PADI Advanced Diver (or equivalent) with a minimum of 50 dives. Liveaboards are a great way to explore more remote areas where you can expect dazzling underwater scenery and wildlife, far from the crowds.
Dive Resorts
We offer a vast range of superb dive resorts in areas where fabulous dive sites can be easily reached by boat. Dive resorts suit those looking to be more flexible with the number of dives they’d like to enjoy per day, with time to relax on the beach or by the pool between dives.

Learn to dive
If you’d like to learn to dive, all the dive resorts we feature have excellent dive centres on site, with multi-lingual, experienced staff ready to start your diver training.
The PADI Open Water Diver Course can usually be completed in 4-5 days, after which you will be qualified to dive to depths of 18m. We highly recommend you continue your training and take the PADI Advanced Diver Course immediately after, which is a further 5 experience dives conducted under supervision with some light classroom reading. These 5 dives will include 2 core dives; Advanced Navigation and Deep Diver, plus your choice of of 3 more speciality dives, which could include Advanced Navigation, Wreck Diver or Night Diver. On completion of the PADI Advanced Course you will be permitted to dive to a depth of 30m, which is perfect for liveaboard diving.
